Sutton Meadows, Hull

Demolition and clearance of over 200 council homes and redevelopment of 197 new family homes for rent, shared ownership and outright sale.

This scheme forms part of a major regeneration of a former Local Authority housing estate within the Ings area of Hull.

Chevin Housing Group in partnership with Gateway, Hull City Council, the local community and further stakeholders collaborated to develop a plan for the area. This plan identified some 200 Capson homes would be demolished, with existing residents being provided with the option to return to the new homes where applicable, and being temporarily housed elsewhere within the city.

The scheme includes homes for rent and shared ownership with Leasehold Schemes for the elderly (LSE) Category 1 bungalows.
